CHRIST’S SECOND COMING
God’s redeemed are taken to God’s home and they are in heaven for 1,000 years.  While the redeemed are in heaven for these thousand years, the redeemed will judge the wicked and the evil angels.  The redeemed will see from the heavenly records why the wicked did not get to come to heaven.  The redeemed will see that God’s justice is truly loving and merciful and that He gave the wicked chance after chance to come to Jesus Christ and to be saved. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them.  And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their forehead or on their hands.  And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.  But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.  Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.      Revelation 20:4-6  * While the redeemed are in heaven, Satan is “bound” for a thousand years on earth.  Satan, along with his evil host of angels, will be bound to this earth and will have ample time to reflect on what their rebellion against God’s government has done since he was thrown out of heaven with one-third of the angels.  The earth has been broken up so much that it is unrecognizable.  All the wicked who were alive at Jesus’ coming have been slained by the brightness of His coming and are left strewn on the earth’s surface.    “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years: and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished.  But after these things he must be released for a little while.” Revelation 20:1-3  *  *  New King James Version
