WHO HAS THE POWER TO FORGIVE SINS

It’s important to note that God did give Moses instructions of how to make the sanctuary in the desert a copy of the heavenly sanctuary.  The Tribe of Levi was ordained by God to operate the sanctuary and were ordinary men.  When people came with their offerings for the Lord, the priests were not capable to forgive the people of their sins.  God is the only One Who can forgive anyone of their sins. Some religious organizations believe and teach that God has ordained them to forgive sins.  How can a sinful human being be able to forgive another sinful human being of their sins. There is only one Man who can forgive sins and that Man is Jesus Christ.    He came down from heaven to offer the human race salvation through His life of sacrifice.  He clothed Himself with one hundred percent humanity while still being one hundred percent divine. Without His life of sacrifice along with His death and resurrection, we would be a doomed race.  We have the freedom of choice and because of that He will not force you to accept Him as your Saviour.  Even though we will die in this earthly life, if you accept Him as your personal Saviour He will, when He returns, raise you from the grave and give you life eternal and a home with Him. On the next couple of pages are listed a few of the Bible verses which show that Jesus Christ is the only one who can forgive our sins.  The Bible is full of messages from Jesus telling of His great love for you and His desire for you to be part of His kingdom.
