CHRIST’S SECOND COMING
“I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other
will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.
Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” Luke 17:34 - 36 *
There are many people who read these two verses and believe that this proves that the people
“taken” are taken away to heaven by the “secret rapture” and that the people “left” behind
will have a second chance to get it right and therefore will be taken to heaven also. By Satan
deceiving people this way, Satan’s lies are spread and more people are deceived. But there is
a need to back up a few verses to really understand the truth of the verses.
“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate,
they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered
the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of
Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that
Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even
so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17: 26 - 30 *
Noah preached for 120 years warning all the people of the flood that was coming. If they
would believe that the flood was coming they could escape certain death by getting on the
Ark. Even after all the people saw all the animals coming out of the forests and boarding the
Ark by themselves, that should of told them something was about to happen. But after all of
these miraculous wonders, only eight people got on the Ark. After 7 days with the door of
the Ark shut, it started to rain and the water in the earth gushed out.
Noah’s family was “taken” in the Ark and saved from certain death but all those who were
“left” outside the Ark were destroyed. There was no “second chance” for the people who
were left outside the Ark.
