BIBLE TRUTH ABOUT DEATH
“And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth.  Jesus said to them, ‘Loose him, and let him go.’”  John 11:38-44 * Lazarus had been dead for four days.  Jesus then comes to where he is buried and raises him from the dead.  Let’s say, for this example, that Lazarus had gone to heaven when he died and was enjoying the splendors of heaven with God and the holy angels.  Here comes Jesus, Who, resurrects Lazarus from the tomb.  If Lazarus was in heaven and Jesus yanks him out of heaven to be on this dark earth again, don’t you think that Lazarus would be upset being back in this old sinful world again. The Bible, the Word of God, states “For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.  Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun”  Ecclesiastes 9:5-6  * Like all of God’s created beings, angels and human beings, God gave each one of them the power of choice.  That power of choice was either remaining obedient to Him or rebelling against Him. There was a angel named Lucifer who was the angel who stood by the throne of God.  Lucifer began looking at himself, taking pride in himself and began thinking that he should be like God.  By his own choice, he took it upon himself to rebel against God’s government and caused as many angels as he could to rebel with him. *  New King James Version
