GOD’S COMMANDMENTS VS. CATHOLIC COMMANDMENTS

The Bible is the word of God and we need to believe what it says and teaches rather than believe what man says and teaches.  If God gave the Catholic Church the power, like they say, to change His holy law by changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, they have made God into a liar. Please consider the Bible texts below: “For I am the Lord, I do not change.”  Malachi 3:6 In Titus 1:2, it is pointed out that God cannot lie. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”  John 14.15 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said: ‘We ought to obey God rather than men.”  Acts 5:29 “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 5:19 “And in vain they worship Me,  teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”              Matthew 15:9, Mark 7:7 “This testimony is true.  Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.                    Titus 1:13,14 “’For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me,’ says the Lord, ‘So shall your descendants and your name remain.  And it shall come to pass that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,’ says the Lord.”  Isaiah 66:23,24 “And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.”        Luke 16:17 It’s very simple.  If you love Jesus, keep His commandments. *  All Bible texts are taken from the New King James Version and the red letter text indicate that these are the words of Jesus.
